Privacy policy

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the website operated by J.M Ezepue Enterprise, located at 48b Plymouth Road, Off Ekenwan Road, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. It describes our current privacy practices and applies to visitors from Nigeria and elsewhere.

Our products and deliveries are available within Nigeria only, although people outside Nigeria may contact us for information.

2. Information we collect

Information you choose to provide

The public website does not currently collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, payment details, or delivery addresses through an online form. We encourage enquiries to be continued directly through WhatsApp or by telephone.

If you contact us by WhatsApp, telephone, email, or another channel, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, contact details, location, product interests, delivery requirements, and the content of your enquiry.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and error or performance information. We do not currently use this information to build advertising profiles.

3. How we use information

Information provided to us may be used to:

• respond to enquiries and provide requested information;
• discuss products, availability, and delivery requirements;
• arrange and support deliveries within Nigeria;
• maintain, secure, and improve the website;
• detect misuse, fraud, or technical problems; and
• meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We also do not currently process payments or complete purchases through this website.

4. Cookies and local storage

The website may use a small cookie or similar browser storage mechanism to remember your theme preference, such as light or dark mode. We may also use strictly necessary technical storage to support website performance, security, or basic functionality.

These technologies are not currently used to sell information or track you across unrelated websites. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some preferences may then need to be selected again.

5. Third-party services

The website may link to or direct you to third-party services, including WhatsApp. When you follow such a link or communicate through such a service, that provider may collect and process information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control third-party privacy practices.

We currently use Supabase only for restricted administrative website functions. The public-facing section does not currently send visitor information to Supabase. If this changes, this policy will be updated before the relevant public feature is introduced.

6. Information sharing

We may share information only where reasonably necessary to operate the business, respond to you, arrange a delivery, use a service provider, protect our rights, or comply with a lawful request. We do not rent or sell customer information to advertisers or data brokers.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was provided, to maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. However, no website, messaging service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or explain our handling of personal information you have provided. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below. You may also contact the relevant data-protection authority if you believe your concern has not been resolved.

9. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Please review it periodically.
